Introducing Jason Wightman...

Greetings earthlings! I'm Jason and I've been Creative Director at Flying Saucer for 13 years now.

After a casual meeting over a pint, I was given the opportunity to work for the fledgling FS back in 2002. I'd already gained experience in the industry working for two of Norwich's largest agencies and was, at the time, freelancing around the county.

Over the years I've seen a lot of changes within the creative industry; some good, some not so good. I've had to develop my predominately print based skill set and now my role within the company encompasses a variety of end product media. <p>In fact there's nothing more I like doing at present than burying my head in the code of our current website projects.</p>

Understanding our clients' goals and aspirations is another part of my job that I love, as well as hopefully delivering them a service that's second-to-none. Although, I have snapped many a pencil in the ongoing war that is ‘client versus designer’!

With an expanded team now on board, the dynamic has changed once more - for the better. But it does mean mine and Jason's harmonising to 80s classics has been shelved!

Outside of work my life revolves mainly around my young family. Time permitting I can be found either enjoying a Costa or indulging in a pint or two of ale. Weather permitting I'll be out on a cycling or motorcycling jolly.

My goal for 2015 is to end up with a beard like Grizzly Adams!
